A 19th c slide lid box in original taupe colored paint.
Constructed entirely from clear pine wood with a removable sliding lid. The body is joined with butt joints and secured with tiny iron brads. Two well carved finger holds adorn the chamfered lid.
Two separate notes accompany the interior describing provenance within a family tree.
Retains fine surface qualities within the paint. Superlative original condition.
