A 19th C. wooden weathervane in original oyster white and red paint.
 
Constructed of a single body of hand cut pine wood with a thinly tapered fin showcasing a shallow profiled Cupids bow cutout.
 
Remains in an excellent state of condition given age and use with a very fine surface with rich texture. New England origin. Ca. 1875. 46"L. DM for info.
 
Comes with a wooden mounting stand as well as a custom made wall mounting bracket.
