Early Rundlet
An early maple wood turned miniature rundlet in original rich red paint.
Constructed from a lathe turned body of maple wood with incised decorative hoops and maple wood heads. A drilled pouring hole is plugged with a corresponding cork, likely not original but old.
Exhibits an extremely fine painted surface with light in-period wear and remains in excellent condition structurally. A charming size at 3 1/2"T. New England origin. Ca. 1800.
