Early book press in a red stain/paint surface. Constructed of maple with dovetailed corners and pine handle. This book press was originally purchased by the Mt. Vernon Ladies Historical Society in 1936 and was de-accessioned in 2016. Excellent condition, retaining high surface quality and museum tag. 23"W x 21"T x 15 1/2"D.
