Early coin bank in original faux birds eye maple decoration. Early nail construction. The interior could only be accessed through removing the roof and does show possible evidence of being emptied at least once before. The paint surface is rich in patina from many years of handling. Very good as-descended condition. New England origin ca. 1830. Very unusual.
