Queen Anne Wall Box
A Queen Anne period hanging wall box of a diminutive size with double tombstone cutout form. Retains its original Spanish brown paint/stain. Larger rose head T nail construction with a striking Maple backboard and pine front and sides. Surface remains as-descended. A scarcely encountered piece given form and size. There is an older unobtrusive repair of an age crack in the front. New England origin. Ca. 1760. 9 1/2"T x 7 1/2"W x 3 1/4"D.
