A 19th C. cake board carved from a single piece of pine. Finely worked forming geometric design work with flowers and fanned corners. Retains a wonderfully aged varnished surface with an alligatored texture. Excellent untouched condition. Northeast origin. Ca. 1840. 10 1/4" Square.
