19th c. Redware Bank
A 19th c. redware bank in old bittersweet paint over original red.
Potted in a barrel form with relief turned hoops and a coin slot on one end. Retains fabulously painted bittersweet paint, vibrant in color.
Excellent as-descended condition with an exceptional painted surface and color.
Likely Pennsylvania in origin. Ca. 1880. 3 1/2"T.
