19th c. Trinket Box

A 19th c. trinket box in period blue paint over original bittersweet.

Constructed from pine wood and joined with butt joints utilizing small iron square nails. The lid is lightly domed, producing a a light aesthetical to please the eye. Small lesther hinges attached with iron nails join its lid to the body.

Remains in overall very good original condition with quality as-descended surface elements and historic color. A fabulous diminutive size for the collector pursuing quality treen accessories.
