A wood carving of a standing youthful dog in original surface. 
Carved from the solid and defined with a youthful curious pose and outward extending tail. Simple executed whiskers adorn his snout. 
Initials MN are gouge carved into the underside of the belly. While being anonymous, the carver chose a delightful position to represent mans best friend and probably represents the family dog.
Excellent original condition with an untouched surface representing the original rasp marks.
