A 19th c. miniature basket in original gilt colored paint. 
Constructed of ash wood weavers with a square bottom base featuring an open weave. Its rim is coil wrapped securing double rim ribs which are shaped by hand. A handle is woven into its body corresponding with each of its vertical stanners.
Survives in mint condition featuring a quality, historically acquired surface.
