A miniature sized Quebec gameboard in original finish. 
Produced of pine wood and ornamented with pine wood moldings attached via small iron nails. The playing field is decorated with stained butternut playing squares and inlaid into the body. Two attached horizontal pine wood moldings to cordon off the area for captured checkers.
Included is a batch of playing pieces made of walnut wood and each is carved by hand in square and circular form. One side of each piece is ornamented with a large X for king'd status. Their carrying box is constructed of pine wood with an early iron screw joining its lid and retains its original brown paint. 
Quebec gameboards of this size are scarcely found and a true gem when found in such well-preserved condition. Included playing pieces are a generous bonus as well. 
All are in excellent condition for age and retain historic surfaces with pleasing color and surfaces.
