Rare Bristol County Sander (SOLD)
A rare 19th c. redware sander in as-descended condition.
Potted in cylindrical form and features incising on its shoulder and foot for decoration. And orange glaze with a single body of manganese drip decorates one side.
Pouring holes on its top are accompanied by a slightly larger hole diameter accomodating a quil.
Sanders confidently attributed to Bristol County are rare. Remains in overall very good condition fornits age with minor imperfections along its shoulder from wear.
